Searching Capabilities provided through the Visible Audio Player
- Multi-document search capability - enables your users to search your entire web based library
of audio content with a single tool.
- There are many ways to search for information in AudioAndText, by using various key words
and advanced search strategies. Shown below are some of the options for using words in a search.
- Our KWIC View displays the results of a search - in a Key Word in Context format, which allows a user to quickly see where and how their search terms are used in the content.
- The search terms found are highlighted in color, and linked directly to their location in the content.

- With Search Hit Navigation - users can browse-walk through long transcripts, from search hit to search hit using numerous options.
- Users can select to confine their search to specific areas of your audio library, based on category classification names (for instance: author, types of audio, subject descriptors, and much more.) For example:
- Individual document search (confine the search to one document instead of across multiple documents in your library)
Browsing-Skimming
- Move quickly from one specific point in the audio and transcript to another.
- Skip easily over sections that are not of interest.
- Numerous options for browsing are always visible in the navigational toolbar.
- Navigate between color highlighted search results terms.
Locate content of interest using any of our content classification options:
- Topics of Discussion
- Table of Contents
- Event Date
- Transcript Timeline - find a point in time in the transcript
- List All View page displays all content available, providing easy and quick access to all audio content and topics of discussion.
